Oaks Construction Management began in 1980 when Mr. Thomas “Toomer” Oaks started his own company Oaks Builders in the Birmingham area. His focus was on safety, excellence, relationships, trust, and quality. In 1988, Oaks Builders merged with Superior Mechanical in Tallahassee Florida, to form what is now known as Oaks Construction Management and expanded the business into larger scale commercial, recreational, renovation, and international projects.

              

Toomer’s dedication and discipline have driven the company through twenty-five years of successful business. He is still an active member of the board and continues to have a hand in running the company.

              

As part of our growth and focus, Oaks Construction Management has progressed from strip mall construction in the 1980’s to commercial offices and recreational projects in the 1990’s. We have also opened and grown our interior and renovation departments in the 2000’s giving us the opportunity to diversify our portfolio and excel in new markets.  This has gained Oaks Construction Management a sound reputation as one of the most successful construction companies in the Birmingham and Southeast area. With over 80% repeat clientele, Oaks Construction Management continues its mission in maintaining trusting relationships by providing top-quality, cutting-edge construction services. Revenue topped at $1.5 billion before 2008, stayed strong through the recession at $700 million with the help of our loyal clientele, and has risen to $1.1 billion in the past years. We expect the economy to continue growing and we will be actively pursuing strong opportunities in the future.
